He married Louisa Montford June 7, 1860 in Johnson Co., GA, daughter of James Montford and Elizabeth Montford.  She was born July 14, 1845 and died February 29, 1892 and is buried in the Webb Cemetery off Hwy. 319, Johnson Co., GA.
